Trash Hero Langkawi
Bringing people together to keep Langkawi clean.
Trash Hero Langkawi is a local volunteer community bringing residents and visitors together to care for the island through regular cleanups and environmental action.
Part of the international Trash Hero network, the Langkawi chapter has been active since 2015. Their cleanups bring people together to collect waste from beaches and other public spaces while encouraging greater awareness of plastic pollution, waste and our shared responsibility for the places we live in and visit.
You don't need to be a long-term volunteer to take part. Visitors to Langkawi can simply join one of the upcoming cleanups and spend some time helping the island they're here to enjoy.
Cleanup locations and schedules change, so check Trash Hero Langkawi's website for the latest details.
