Hoonga Chakka Energy Channeling

Hoonga Chakka Energy Channeling is the practice of Katrina Arokiam, whose path into healing work grew out of years spent alongside vulnerable people and communities.

Katrina grew up around a drug rehabilitation centre and hospice for people living with HIV run by her parents. She later spent 16 years working alongside vulnerable children and communities while studying psychology and human rights, exploring trauma support and the complexities of human experience.

Her own experience of personal transition eventually led her toward energy channeling — something she says arrived unexpectedly despite her initially skeptical outlook. Today, through Hoonga Chakka, she creates spaces for people to explore this practice and what she describes as a deeper connection with their own capacity for healing, awareness and transformation.
